A custom satin finish on engobe: a brilliant idea

Light tones were chosen to harmonize with the two buildings at the ends of the new construction. The choice of terracotta was dictated by the brick facade of one of its end buildings, as well as those along the rue de Charenton. A total of 1,300 m2 of facades were covered with Rairies Montrieux cladding panels. Rairies Montrieux has created a bespoke satin finish for the matt inserts in its Engobé range. The MontBlanc high-gloss veneer from the Monocuisson range was chosen to create a subtle contrast with the MontBlanc satin-finish veneer. Depending on the light, this contrasting effect is revealed more or less finely by its diamond pattern. What's more, the combination of these two shades of white and their respective finishes brings light to the facades of the entire program. This luminosity is particularly important for this narrow section of the Rue de Charenton.
